Audience production

As i started to research into audience, i decided to gather a group of 15 people who are between the age of 16-25 The target audience are fun loving 16-25 year old and asked them what they would like to see and what they would like to change, the following:

. They wanted to see 

• a lot of writing on the magazine to emphasise that it is entertainment and not fashion
• prefer close up shots / mid close ups compared to long shots
• wouldn't mind if it was black and white
• a lot of colour
• different texts sizes and fonts 

Met with the focus group again and showed them my first mock ups of the magazine. they said:

• Change the photos make them more close ups
• Make the photo cover the whole page
• possibly switch some colours around

The things they liked about it:

• They like the amount of text on the cover
• the bold font style

 Met again a week later to show first draft of contents pages, they said

• Us more than one image
• Make it bold and clear

They liked;

• The bold colours
• the use of not much writing - simplistic
